Can anyone provide any clarification regarding Problem 3.3? The description of the problem is not clear to me. Is it referring to a single compression wave that moves down a tube and reflects off the end, then travels in the reverse direction until reaching an open end, and then reflects as an expansion wave? Or is the problem talking about 2 different scenarios: A compression wave that reflects off the closed end of a tube, and a seperate wave in a different tube that reflects off a closed end? A picture would really help here.
